Shared Blogg is not like any normal WordPress blog. With Shared Blogg, anyone can write posts, as long as they fit with the guidelines listed below. Just comment on this page, and I will add you as a contributor so you can write posts (make sure to check your email). Please follow the blog to get others posts as well, and to see if someone commented or liked yours.
Once you write a post, it will be held for moderation, and if it fits with the guidelines then it will be published. So write good posts!
WHY SHOULD YOU USE THIS?
You might think that there is no point in writing in this blog when you have your own already. When writing here, your posts are MUCH more likely to be seen, since other people will be coming here to write their own stuff. And since most people will be following the blog, they’ll get an email whenever a new post of yours is made. Also, I allow advertising, as long as it is still a good post that does it. This is not only a great way to get people to read your blog who may never have noticed it before but also a way to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.
Below are the guidelines:
- Please write decent content – No 3-4 sentence posts.
- Don’t write the same post twice.
- No adult language or content.
- No politics.
- Be nice in posts and comments.
Once you have read this, start reading posts.
If you are a contributor, write posts here.
I just found out that reblogging a post from yours or someone else’s blog doesn’t work. So if you tried to reblog something from your site and I never published it, now you know why. To get around this, just copy all of the content into a new post to publish here.
Any advice or recommendations for this?
This is a wonderful idea! On my blog I have created a reader submissions page that has yet to take off. Rather than using the contributor feature on WordPress, of which I have just now heard of thanks to your blog, I established a small form, simply your name, email address, and the writin you’d like to contribute, and it will be sent to an email box I have made strictly for the submissions.
I would love to be involved with your blog. If I understand it correctly, you have to moderate your contributors then? If that is how it works, I would be very grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this blog. Thanks!
Great idea i’m in, sharing and spreading posts is the usefull way to get it well distributed and not only mark as read, but really well read.
